Grinds My Gears

I really hated walking around campus and trying to dodge suitcases that were transformed into book bags or tot-sacks however you want to say it. A suitcase is a great invention for travel or stowing things away, but not, I repeat not for class to class voyages. I had a full load but I did not need the extreme presents of a suitcase to carry my books that do not weigh enough to warrant a suitcase. These suitcase violators are just as bad as parents during the holiday season who bust out the double wide baby stroller. It is not enough that they are dragging their kids around while they are screaming, but now they seem to do it more so when the malls are packed. The strollers are so wide that they are more wide than two people walking side-by-side. Anyway back to suitcases turned into book bags. Bad idea and do not do it please....

No pocket of sunshine

For some reason that I am not aware of I have developed a sleeping problem. I use to not be able to sleep and now for some reason I sleep more than I care to admit to. I don't know what it is, but as soon as I sit down or lay down I go straight to sleep. I hate it! I don't like the feel of being sleepy all the time. No matter what I do I cannot get rid of the feeling. Like right now I feel exhausted and want to just crawl into bed and not come out. I do have a book with-in arms reach so I guess it is not too bad.
I could not help myself with this blog pic. A sleeping baby donkey; come on you know it is cute!

Atonement

I have meant to blog about this, but for some reason I never got around to it. I bought Atonement and finally watched it. I thought the movie was great. The only complaint I have is I feel like they were trying to fit too much into too little. Over all again still a great movie. It had a normal ending, or what some would argue a real life ending. No one ended with who they were suppose to. Tragic! I still hold onto hope. It is was what fuels so many dreams, and destroys reality. But anyway I thought the blog picture fit this blog since it was from the movie. Again he held onto hope all the way up until the end.

Gave In

#1. I finally gave in and had an eye exam. I knew my vision was not top notch or very poor. What I found out is that I'm near sighted. So I can see things up close but not far away. After a few more days of debating to get glasses or not; I went to Lenscrafters and got my prescription filled. I have never worm glasses, well only to read in, but that is all. First day I wore them was to work because I was going to see a few hundred people and if I got any bad looks or comments I would just deal with my near sightedness and do away with my glasses. Well the test was successful and I am keeping them.

#2. After watching Lucky # Slevin I decided I am going to grow my hair out like Josh Harnett in the movie. Right now I am stuck at the point of just shaggy and difficult to style hair.

**The picture I am posting is a rare one  and maybe the last. I wanted to keep this blog anonymous but eh who cares if anyone finds it. Also just how Nostradamus hide things in his writing there are things in this picture that should be found, but might not.

Columbus Art Festival

On Saturday mornings I have a Economics class. Last Saturday we got out early because we just reviewed for our final next week. Since I did not have to be to work until 3 and class was let out at 11 I had a lot of time to kill. I remembered that their was an art festival going on close to my college. To be exact Columbus Art Festival held annually every year.  At first I just walked around to kill time. As I continued to walk looking at artists life work I could not help to be humbled. They took ordinary things and made more than what words could try to describe. The first walk around I did was to try and see everything. Which is not possible. Second lap I tried to stop by all the stands that sparked interest during the first lap. Third was to do donkey sightings which was extremely hard, and I only found two stands.
After this I am now going to take more interest in art and try to bury myself in it, and if possible feel what the is trying to be expressed.

*If you can try to imagine the big red thing says ART. That actually belongs to the college so I think that is why it was held there. The festival was held in the area of the college.

A right to be dumb?

I was driving to work this afternoon. I had my window's down and cruse control set at 70. The speed limit was 65 so I was not going too fast. I seen a swarm of people going out and around this one particular vehicle. It was so bad that even semi trucks were going out and around. It was my turn to pass them, and then I seen a lick and stick thing hanging on their window. The sticker read "BABY ON BOARD." I though to myself does this give you a right to drive 50 mph in a 65 fast lane? No, is the correct answer. I just wonder if you really do have a baby in your car then why put them at risk going slow in a fast lane? That's like me cutting my leg off and jumping into a pool filled with sharks. I know that is an extreme example ,but still crazy drivers with road rage are wild animals I do not like to face.

Meeting Friends

Quick thought. I have a 8am Saturday economics class and a girl in my class, who talks very loudly, was telling of how she met her boyfriend. I was shocked about what she was admitting too! She was saying how this guy messaged her on Myspace, who lives 3 hours away, and she just felt "compelled" to reply him because he "seemed different." If I have learned one thing from a friend is that anyone can be anything on Myspace. I feel bad for her because she seems like a nice girl that is searching for a nice guy, but Myspace I feel like is not the best way to meet someone and publicly announce it. I could be wrong. If anyone feels different let me know, and if I'm off base or wrong. I'll either edit or delete this post. Depending how good your argument is.
